Runners were greeted to perfect weather for the staging of the Slieve Martin Dash. The race, run in conjunction with the Fiddlers Green International Folk Festival, saw competitors take on an ascent and descent of Slieve Martin. It was the in form Maurice Harte who took the line in the men's race and local lady, Lorraine Doyle, who was first home in the ladies section.
Well done to all runners, next up is the Maidens of Mourne 5k and 10k events at Narrow Water Estate on Tuesday 9 August.
