Location and Route

The start point of this 10k route is located just past an area known locally as “Leitrim Lodge” which is located between Rostrevor and Hilltown. After a short uphill section at the start the route continues past “Santa’s Cottage” before following a downhill route in the direction of Rostrevor passing Batts Wall and Yellow Water. On nearing Rostrevor the route turns left off the Newtown Road, up a small hill and onto the forest drive through Kilbroney Park for the final stretch. The race finishes in the same fantastic location as the Mourne Way Marathon events in Kilbroney Park.
