Run in idyllic nature trails in the Silent Valley to start off, ride the ups and downs of the bike loop and run through the heart of the Mournes to finish.
First Run (3km)
Starting in the Silent Valley, the race will run a 3km look of the nature trails on a mix of gravel and tarmac.
Onto the bikes and the race follows an anti clockwise direction heading for Newcastle passing Donard Park. The bike section continues on to Bryansford before turning onto the Slievenaman road in the direction of Fofanny Dam and Ott car park. From here the route follows the Moyadd Road and Head Road back to the Silent Valley.
Final Run (15km)
The final run turns left out of the Silent Valley onto the head road to Carrick Little Car Park. From here the race moves into the Mournes through the Annalong Valley to the Col between Slieve Binnian and Slieve Lamagan running on mountain single track in an increasing gradient to the Col.
