Carlingford Half Marathon & 10K 2018

Raising much needed funds for St Brigid's School, Dundalk

26Extreme are delighted to be involved in the Carlingford Half Marathon & 10k races again this year.

Carlingford Half Marathon & 10k will take place on Saturday 3rd March 2018 in aid of St. Brigids Special School in Dundalk .

The race (Half Marathon) begins in the picturesque village of Carlingford and take in the beautiful surrounds of the Cooley peninsula, Ballagan Point, Mourne Mountains & Carlingford Lough. The race finishes in the village. There will be stewards along the route, water provided at various points.

The 10K route is similar to the Half Marathon except it cuts off to make the route shorter but the finish route is the same. Water will be provided along the 10K Route.

All finishers will receive a Medal, and post event refreshments.

The route would not be classed as hilly, and has been officially measured. There are a few small hills along the route but nothing major!

Entering the Carlingford Half Marathon or 10K Road Races are not only a challenge for a runner to take part in, but a worthwhile method of raising funds to raise much needed funds for St Brigid's School in Dundalk.
St Brigid's School has been providing Primary and Secondary education to children who learn at different rates since 1977.
