A perfect evening saw runners take on the ascent and descent of Slieve Martin and it was the in form Maurice Harte who crossed the line in first place. Lorraine Doyle took the honours in the ladies section.  

Congratulations to all the participants in the 5k & 10k races. The races are continuing to grow and we hope to be back once again in 2012 for another exciting weekend of racing. 

Narrow Water Castle, once again, provided the backdrop for the 2011 International Maidens of Mourne Festival running event. Dusty trails and perfect weather greeted the competitors for the staging of the event.
